# OpenCode

> Run OpenCode with Mercury 2.5 through Inception's API.

OpenCode includes Inception as a built-in provider. Connect your Inception [API key](https://platform.inceptionlabs.ai/dashboard/api-keys) to use Mercury 2.5.

Install OpenCode from [opencode.ai](https://opencode.ai/), then run `opencode` in your terminal.

## Setup

    Type the `/connect` command and press Enter.

  <Step title="Search for Inception">
    Start typing **Inception** in the provider search and select it.

  <Step title="Add your API key">
    Select **Add account**, then paste your Inception API key when prompted.

  <Step title="Select Mercury 2.5">
    Select **Mercury 2.5** as your default model. To change models later, run the `/models` command.
